This ist the notebook which Kathi brought from Finland. I used it for the comic-workshop. Actually I was quite lazy during the workshop, I didn’t draw so many pictures as my hardworking classmates. They have done a lot of work and many of their drawings were very good.
At the beginning I was thinking about having an alice as an animal, a not so cute animal. But it means I have to change the story a lot for an animal alice. As I said, I was quite lazy those days and there was just very few time to decide the story. So I gave it up.
And then a blond Alice. Cute, but it will be a normal story. It bores me to be boring. So I also didn’t use this one.
An Alice a little bit modern-age. I was not sure what will the story will be like with her, so I kept on drawing.
Till I found my Alice. Since it was me who draw the comic. I could decide how the story goes. As I said, I was quite lazy XD, I chose a me-character. This little fat girl is more like me. So I can handle her. I know her thoghts and how she acts. But she’s exagerated me. She eats so much candies she wants to eat and do anything that she wants to do, she’s very willful. That is what I dare not do in the reality :). I like her and so was she there.
For the white rabbit, I have to say, I’ve forgotten how is he like in the original book…I read the book many many years ago, so.. Hmmm it should also be a me-character( pff, lazy author).
So was he there. A strange rabbit, with strange smile. The chinese words mean, he smiles strangely all the time, even when he is scared.
The modern-age rabbit. I’ve thrown it away.
The scene I’ve chosen was the pool of tears, the mouse should be also in the scene. But as I described the pages (what should happen in which page), I found that I did’t have time to finish the whole chapter. Then I make my work stop at the point that the rabbit runs away.
The notebook is c.a. A6 big. The minilayout is very difficult to understand XD I did it so on purpose, because I was too lazy to draw long lines, hihi.

PS. maybe I won’t finish the final pages. Because the workshop is over and I like it more to draw my own story. But maybe someday I have to much time and no idea for my story. I would also like to make them done. :)
